I am running the Great North Run 202O in memory of my Grandma, Margaret Hobbs. 

My Grandma was a strong, determined and loving person who never let anything or anyone tell her she couldn't do something. In 2018, the family got a scare when she ended up in the hospital due to her lungs not functioning properly and she was not able to get enough oxygen. However, despite all odds, and being the strong person that she was, she got herself out of the hospital and continued to live her very full life. Throughout the next two years, she was in and out of the hospital, each time getting a little bit weaker but that still didn't stop her from coming to every family event and every one of her many grandkids graduations. Sadly, in January of this year, she passed away and we had to say goodbye to an integral part of our family.
